Privacy

What you add to your webspace rests entirely with you. When you create a new CreateFSU account, you will not use your personal name in the domain name. However, when you sign up through the default process, your name does get published as part of the public record about your domain name. Anyone can find it by looking up details about the ownership of that domain name through a public WHOIS request. It is important to keep in mind that your name will be associated with your site, even if you do not publish your name explicitly on any webpages.

To protect your privacy, we associate the University’s address with each domain name. This means that, while your name is accessible through a WHOIS lookup, your personal address is not affiliated with the account.
